Job Summary:

The primary role of this position is to ensure the safe operation of a van, providing transportation between employee parking areas and the entrance for employees and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in alignment with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Operate the van according to a set schedule.
  • Transport employees and guests to and from designated locations safely and courteously.
  • Respond to dispatch calls via two-way radio.
  • Exhibit exceptional service skills consistently.
  • Provide outstanding service to enhance guest experiences.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the shuttle van.
  • Conduct inspections of the van's interior and exterior at the start and end of each shift to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Recommend necessary vehicle servicing.
  • Report any mechanical issues or deterioration of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to all state regulations and laws while transporting passengers safely.
  • Proactively address incidents and issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Comply with regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures ethically.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Six months of prior bus driving experience.
  • Ability to operate various passenger vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions safely and efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license required, with no more than one (1) DUI conviction or three (3) or more moving violations, or traffic citation convictions in the past three years.
  • Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent vision, both day and night.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and personal hygiene.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated teamwork behaviors and attitudes.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:
  • Ability to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items.
  • Ability to respond to visual and auditory cues.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Capability to operate effectively in mentally and physically demanding situations.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to tolerate diverse noise levels, temperature variations, and air quality, including secondhand smoke.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
