At Essity: This Is What We Do About the Role Essity Professional Hygiene North America is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager. This position would be based in our manufacturing facility in Cherokee, AL. We're looking for people who embody our values, aren't afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. What You Will Do Lead and coordinate the continuous improvement activities in the warehouse inclusive of the following areas: standardization, process control, operational methods and 20 keys; Know and apply the safety plan for the warehouses as well as participate in the safety audits; Apply the company quality policies in the warehouses ensuring all areas meet the standards for annual audit inspections; Establish the operational standard operating procedures of the warehouse, working with the training representative to maintain updated records and revisions as required; Understand and enforce the safety and environmental rules established by the Company; Work closely with Internal Logistics Manager to maintain continuous and uninterrupted flow of finished goods from production lines to finished goods warehouse; Ensure customer orders ship accurately on-time and damage free; Maintain accurate inventory of all finished goods in both onsite and offsite warehouse locations; Identify and eradicate obsolete materials in the finished goods warehouse monthly or as required; Execute the tasks of management and leadership assigned to the area of responsibility with the objective to achieve the goals and objectives specified; Effectively communicate within all levels of the organization; Participate in Capital Expense projects necessary to replace or enhance our facilities effectiveness; Seek opportunities to further utilize space within our warehouse operation through redesign and current product flow opportunities including outside warehouse (3PL) locations; Maintain established housekeeping standards at all times; Communicate daily the expectations objectives and priorities to scheduled shift crews; Coordinate with all the areas in the organization to detect and prevent possible service problems including but not limited to Quality, Customer Service and Central Transportation; Responsible of safety emergencies/other in the warehouse and available by phone while offsite; Coordinate and manage all Yard activities on site with 3PL company. ## Who You Are Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse management role; Experience in manufacturing environment preferred but not required; Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred but not required; Experience with SAP or other major ERP system.
