Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying signs and symptoms of illness or injury, and collaborate with other medical personnel as needed.
  • Administer basic, intermediate, and advanced life support care within the scope of your licensure and certification, adhering to approved protocols.
  • Ensure safe and efficient patient handling, transportation, and transfer to medical facilities.
  • Document patient information, treatment, and condition on EMS run reports, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks, maintaining the ambulance and its equipment in proper working order.
  • Operate the ambulance safely and efficiently, adhering to company driving guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and emergency service providers, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
Requirements
  • National and/or State certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certification.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally.
  • Knowledge of company protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NALS, PALS, PHTLS, PEEP, and Instructor certifications.
Interpersonal Requirements
  • Maintain social, ethical, and organizational norms.
  • Achieve accomplishment of all task details.
  • Maintain good personal motivation and a sense of ownership of job tasks and results.
  • Maintain professionalism and respect with patients, colleagues, and the general public.
Training Requirements
