You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify signs and symptoms of illness or injury
  • Administer advanced life support care, including medication administration and airway management
  • Operate medical equipment, such as cardiac monitors and defibrillators
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to medical facilities
  • Document patient care and treatment on EMS run reports
  • Conduct regular unit inventory and equipment testing to ensure all equipment is present, clean, and in proper working order
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • National and/or State certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NALS, PALS, PHTLS, PEEP, and Instructor certifications
Interpersonal Requirements:
  • Maintain social, ethical, and organizational norms
  • Achieve accomplishment of all task details
  • Maintain good personal motivation and a sense of ownership of job tasks and results
  • Maintain professionalism and respect with patients, coworkers, emergency service providers, healthcare workers, and the general public
Training Requirements:
  • Orientation to job requirements
