Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

MATHESON is a leading provider of compressed gas solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing new accounts and maintaining and growing existing sales of cylinder gases, welding equipment, safety, and PPE products throughout your assigned protected territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish new accounts and maintain and grow existing sales of cylinder gases and welding equipment, safety, and PPE products
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing and new customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
Requirements:
  • 2-5+ years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in industrial gases, propane, welding supplies, or safety supplies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record in sales development and account management
  • Understanding of profit margins and effective quoting
  • Professional presentation experience
