Pediatrician - Medical Professional

Job Summary:
The Pediatrician at Midtown Health Center is responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Refer patients to specialty care services, lab, and x-ray services as needed.
- Review lab and x-ray reports, making medical management decisions accordingly.
- Maintain accurate health records and provide follow-up instructions through electronic health records.
- Ensure continuity of care, participating in after-hour care coverage and educating patients and families about diagnoses and care plans.
- Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as needed.
- Stay current with medical and healthcare trends, contributing to the development of community health care plans.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Nebraska.
- Current DEA license.
- Valid driver's license and ability to utilize own transportation for work purposes.
Working Conditions:
The Pediatrician will work in a smoke-free and drug-free environment, frequently exposed to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
