Role Overview:The Strategic Sourcing Manager will take charge of leading procurement initiatives, assessing suppliers, negotiating agreements, and nurturing relationships within designated categories.
Key Responsibilities:Establish and implement strategies for ongoing enhancement and value creation
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal value
- Cultivate supplier partnerships to drive value for Ferrero
- Examine market trends relevant to the assigned categories
- Ensure alignment with internal stakeholders regarding business requirements
- Monitor efficiencies attained in managed categories
- Assist with Purchase Order Management tasks
- Collaborate with the central team on strategic sourcing efforts
This position will support categories including Marketing, Production, Innovation, PR, and Events.
Ideal Candidate Profile:- At least 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing
- Expertise in procurement methodologies, negotiation tactics, and market analysis
- Proficient in advanced Excel analytics
- Familiarity with SAP and SAP Ariba is advantageous
- Experience in multinational organizations is preferred
- Master's Degree is preferred; Professional Certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Able to perform under pressure and manage time efficiently
- Meticulous attention to detail and collaborative skills
- Willingness to travel
