Responsibilities- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
- Provide assistance to patients and their families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
- Collect and document patient information, reporting significant changes to a registered nurse or physician.
- Provide care and treatments to patients as outlined in the plan of care, including vital sign measurement, specimen collection, and wound care.
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Perform indirect care tasks, such as cleaning the work area, changing linens, and re-stocking supplies.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Listing as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Six (6) months of relevant nursing assistant experience.
