Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identification and prepare patients for exams
  • Use proper imaging techniques to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality diagnostic exams
  • Perform exams on patients of all ages, using appropriate protocol and following ACR guidelines
  • Demonstrate proficiency on all clinical equipment within the department
  • Complete and annotate medically acceptable exams, following ACR guidelines
  • Follow protocol for medical necessity, coding, and charging, obtaining consents if necessary
  • Document all events and maintain a current QC program for ACR
Requirements
  • ARRT Registry or ARDMS Registry, with successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • Ultrasound experience preferred
