Responsibilities:

* Assist the Chief Engineer in ongoing Preventative Maintenance programs
* Ensure all mechanical systems are operating in accordance with hotel standards
* Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
* Respond to guest and staff reports of non-functioning equipment
* Maintain rooms in optimal operating condition
* Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* 18 years of age or older
* Ability to communicate effectively in English
* Excellent hospitality skills
* Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 30-50 pounds
* Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
* Ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists
* Ability to reach, stretch, bend, kneel, and squat
