Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Account Manager to join our team at CRC Group. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our brokers, underwriters, and team leaders, leveraging their expertise in insurance and account management to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote new business and renewal opportunities to achieve production and market criteria.
  • Negotiate terms with underwriters, including price, deductible, enhancement, and exclusions.
  • Select carriers to approach with accounts.
  • Assist and provide quotations for new business, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Prepare recommendations for agents, showcasing the best coverage information.
  • Process new business, including transference applications, issue binders and invoices, and check policy coverages for accuracy.
  • Process renewal business, including locating files, preparing and mailing solicitor letters, and checking policy coverages for accuracy.
  • Acquire confirmations from retailers when accounts are bound.
  • Process cancellation and endorsement requests.
  • Prepare company profiles and research analysis for client visits.
  • Provide directions and supervision to team members as requested.
  • Maintain good working relationships with current agents and co-workers.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry and sales ideas through regular attendance at workshops, seminars, and literature reviews.
Requirements
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of wholesale insurance experience or its equivalent.
  • Experience with specific account handling and marketing.
  • Current state-specific insurance license.
  • Substantial knowledge of insurance and insurance processes.
  • Ability to review information, make decisions, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deal with confidential matters appropriately.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
