Insurance Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Alliant Insurance Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and overall service to assigned customers and/or policies, soliciting new business on existing accounts, and supporting Producer-led new business efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Identify prospective and current client needs through exposure analysis and develop appropriate program designs to solve their needs.
- Prepare and submit marketing submissions for new and renewal business in coordination with the Producer.
- Communicate with insurance carriers to bind coverage and issue policies.
- Verify the accuracy of issued policies, endorsements, and other documents.
- Manage client relationships to maintain high account retention rates.
- Manage renewal processes on existing business and collect fees, reconcile, and resolve any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date.
- Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity.
- Four (4) or more years of related work experience in the insurance field.
- Valid Insurance License.
- Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, organization, attention to detail, and effective time management skills.
- Advanced planning and prioritization skills, good problem-solving skills, and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork, maintain cordial and effective relationships with clients, colleagues, carriers, and other business contacts.
- Thorough knowledge of personal lines insurance and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
