Job Title: Engineer as an expert in the field of plant safety

Job Summary:

Pine Valley is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to perform commissioning tests and annual inspections of industrial plants in accordance with national and European guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of facilities handling hazardous substances, testing process control safety devices, and providing expert opinions as part of hazard assessments and risk evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform commissioning tests and annual inspections of industrial plants in accordance with national and European guidelines
  • Conduct inspections of facilities handling hazardous substances in compliance with water regulations (AwSV/WHG)
  • Test process control safety devices and explosion protection measures
  • Produce objective safety assessments and expert opinions as part of hazard assessments and risk evaluations
  • Provide competent support and advice to clients in the field to ensure long-term partnerships


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in process engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, or recognized expertise in plant safety
  • Relevant professional experience in the areas of measurement and control technology, hydraulics, mechanics, as well as in proposal calculation and order processing
  • Strong sense of responsibility, resilience, reliability, and assertiveness
  • Excellent customer and service orientation, coupled with strong communication skills and a flexible problem-solving approach
  • Fluent in German and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for field work
