Position: Senior Mortgage Consultant

The Senior Mortgage Consultant position is responsible for managing the mortgage lending process from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients while addressing their needs efficiently
  • Evaluate client financial profiles to recommend suitable loan options
  • Ensure timely collection of required documentation by actively following up with clients
  • Input loan information accurately into the system and work alongside Loan Processors to ensure file accuracy
  • Oversee client pipeline through effective follow-up techniques
  • Provide consistent performance updates to the Team Manager to ensure compliance
  • Identify opportunities for productivity improvements and collaborate with the Team Manager and Loan Agent Trainer
  • Conduct a significant volume of outbound calls based on provided leads
  • Engage clients through outbound calls to promote mortgage products
  • Meet monthly production goals and adjust to evolving objectives
  • Regularly update client records and finalize mortgage loan signings

Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Mortgage Sales within a dynamic call center environment
  • Familiarity with NON QM products is advantageous
  • Proven customer service abilities, friendly telephone demeanor, and knowledge of mortgage industry developments
  • Enthusiastic and driven with excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up capabilities, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Competence in MS Outlook, internet navigation, and average typing speed

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid NMLS license
  • Compliance with NMLS SAFE ACT
  • Continuous maintenance of MLO license status
