Job Summary

As a Healthcare Specialist with JBS USA Holdings, Inc., you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to employees. The ideal candidate is a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who is passionate about delivering compassionate and professional care.

About the Role
This position requires an LVN who is licensed to practice in the state of employment. As an Occupational Health Professional, you will administer direct care to employees according to medical directives and within the scope of practice and regulations of the State Nurse Practice Act. You will work under the supervision of the Occupational Health Manager or Supervisor and be responsible for ensuring that all care provided meets the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver direct care to employees at site according to medical directives within the scope of practice and regulations of the State Nurse Practice Act
• Provide compassionate and quality care to employees while adhering to health management policies, protocols, medical directives, and physician standing orders
• Participate in health and safety teaching of employees and establish good working relationships with departmental staff and local healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist in departmental medical records upkeep
• Keep department clean and orderly and notify Occupational Health Manager and designee of any pertinent physical and emotional changes of symptoms presented by employees

Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree of Nursing or Diploma Nursing Degree preferred
• Current LVN license in state of employment required; certification in urine drug screen and breath alcohol collections also required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LVN; ability to work other hours/shifts as needed
