Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Wound Care will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients with complex wounds. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive wound care services, including wound assessment, debridement, and dressing changes. Your expertise will also be utilized to educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and promote self-management of wound care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients with complex wounds and develop individualized care plans to promote optimal wound healing outcomes.
  • Provide wound care services, including wound assessment, debridement, and dressing changes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and promote self-management of wound care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care services and promote best practices.
Requirements:
  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York.
  • Clinical certification in a specific specialty, such as wound care or ostomy care.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Proficient with personal computers, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
