Ambulatory Care Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Healthcare Professional to join our team at Christ Community Health Services. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering patient care and supporting our healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assist with gathering data for patient history and physical assessment, take vital signs, and document results in the patient chart.
- Administrative Support: Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms, manage supplies inventory, and ensure equipment is clean and functioning properly.
- Clinical Support: Assist nurses and physicians with physical exams, simple procedures, and administer injections as ordered by the provider.
- Scheduling and Referrals: Assist with scheduling patients for specific treatments and respond to medical emergencies.
Requirements:
- Certification: Valid Certified Medical Assistant certificate and BCLS certification required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
- Experience: Experience in ambulatory care preferred, bilingual preferred.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $48,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
