Overnight Youth Care Specialist

Position Overview:
As an Overnight Youth Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the lives of children facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of residents during nighttime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular checks on residents at scheduled intervals to confirm their safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Provide support and engage in conversations with residents during the night, addressing their concerns and needs.
- Be prepared to work flexible shifts, which may include:
- 5 nights a week: Including weekdays and weekends from 10:15 PM to 6:45 AM or 10:15 PM to 8:30 AM.
- 4 nights a week: With 3 days off, from 8 PM to 6:30 AM.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as physical agility. Candidates may need to run, climb stairs, and participate in physical interventions when necessary. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally more than 100 pounds, is essential.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience working with at-risk youth is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary of $22 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
