Job Overview

The Systems Analysis Specialist plays a crucial role in developing a deep understanding of systems to support the functional operations of the SAGE operational system and its integration with the SAP ERP System. This role involves analyzing master data and conveying data insights to the business based on thorough analysis. The specialist will work within an ISO-compliant framework, ensuring the creation and maintenance of essential system documentation for business systems enhancements. This position also provides functional expertise and training support, coordinating cross-departmental collaboration for comprehensive business processes within the SAGE system.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Development

• Aid in identifying and assessing system solutions and procedures that fulfill user needs.

• Engage in the analysis of business requirements, interdepartmental information dependencies, and system impacts.

• Assist in documenting business system workflows.

• Maintain a close working relationship with relevant business partners to ensure effective system performance.

• Investigate enhancements and additional functionalities of the business system to optimize the efficiency of SAGE business systems.

Information Integration & Documentation

• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of system processes.

• Review functional specifications to confirm that business requirements are adequately addressed.

• Communicate data standards and assist in maintaining data integrity during database transitions.

Subject Matter Expertise

• Develop and enhance knowledge of SAGE business processes and systems as required.

• Stay informed about compliance requirements relevant to the role and adhere to those standards.

• Participate in process reviews to recommend changes and improvements where justified.

• Undertake additional related duties and assignments as necessary.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, technical, or business discipline is typically required, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience working with computer databases and translating business processes into operational systems. Candidates with equivalent experience to a Bachelor's Degree will also be considered.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with similar databases.

• Basic understanding of ERP Systems functionality is preferred.

• Familiarity with structured phase-gate product development and portfolio management processes is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to adhere to established policies and procedures.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Some travel may be required.
