Key Responsibilities of a Marine Systems Engineer:
As a Marine Systems Engineer, you will be essential in maintaining the vessel’s operational excellence.
  • Overseeing all machinery, equipment, and systems on board, ensuring the proper functionality of various components.
  • Implementing company policies, procedures, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitoring fuel levels, performing necessary maintenance, and ensuring adherence to fueling protocols.
  • Conducting repairs efficiently in remote Alaskan locations with limited resources and time constraints.
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid USCG Merchant Mariner Credential is mandatory.

• Previous experience in marine engineering is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
  • A minimum of five years of marine engineering experience within the last 15 years.
  • Proficiency with various equipment essential for the role.
Working Conditions:
  • Accommodation and provisions are provided on the vessel.
  • Transportation to and from the vessel is arranged.
  • Ability to work under physical demands and varying weather conditions.
