Job Description

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Assessment Specialist to lead the preparation and completion of a legally and technically sufficient Environmental Assessment (EA) for a 37,343 square foot facility at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with the Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center and the 75th Civil Engineer Group/Environmental to assess environmental impact areas.
  • Evaluate baseline environmental conditions and predict potential impacts on air quality, cultural resources, natural resources, and other relevant areas.
  • Facilitate consultations with regulatory agencies, other government agencies, and stakeholders as required by NEPA and other environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, draft and final EA documents, and Findings of No Significant Impact (FONSI) as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field (master's preferred).
  • Extensive experience in environmental assessments and NEPA compliance.
  • Familiarity with federal environmental regulations, including NEPA, the Endangered Species Act, and the Clean Air Act.
