Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Analyst to join our team at PacifiCorp. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining environmental compliance at our generation facilities and assisting other engineering staff on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support thermal generation facilities in maintaining compliance with federal regulations, including the Federal Acid Rain Program, New Source Performance Standards, and Mercury and Air Toxics Standards.
  • Complete federal and state environmental reporting and assist in quality assurance of data and reports generated by thermal plants.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and support thermal generation facilities in Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new and upcoming changes to regulations affecting environmental compliance.
  • Develop studies of limited scope and prepare data for cost estimations and analyses.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to environmental standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering.
  • Knowledge and understanding of environmental issues and company business processes.
  • Data gathering, analysis, interpretation, trending, forecasting, and modeling skills.
  • Proficient with personal computers and complex software applications.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to consult with internal and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years experience in environmental or regulatory matters.
  • Experience with environmental monitoring and reporting.
  • Knowledge of air, hazardous waste, solid waste, or water issues.
Additional Information

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 12.00% of salary.
