Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental compliance reviews of electric utility transmission, distribution, and substation construction and maintenance projects.
  • Provide environmental support, training, and guidance related to utility operations and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on environmental permitting of projects, procure consultants, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Create and/or review environmental documents, employee training, reporting, and other job-related duties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences or Environmental Sciences; or the equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of environmental issues and the company's business processes.
  • Data gathering, analysis, and interpretation skills.
  • Writing skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local governmental environmental laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with the use of personal computers, including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization and prioritize workload under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of experience in environmental or regulatory matters.
  • Experience with environmental monitoring and reporting.
  • Knowledge of natural resource issues related to the energy industry.

PacifiCorp offers a competitive salary range of $76,200-$89,600, an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, and paid short-term and long-term disability.
