Position Summary:

The role serves as a key point of contact between ConferenceDirect's associates, hotel partners, accounting departments, and vendors. This position is responsible for proactive collections via phone and email for assigned invoices, reporting outcomes, investigating and resolving payment discrepancies, and ensuring the company upholds its high standards of service with Associates and Partners. A collaborative approach across departments is essential, coupled with a strong commitment to integrity and ethical accountability in executing assigned tasks.

Compensation: $22/hr - $26.50/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee collection of assigned invoices, particularly those overdue by 40 days or more.
  • Facilitate resolution of accounts through effective communication via phone and email, accurately documenting actions in the CRM system while adhering to company performance standards.
  • Engage with vendors and associates in accordance with established SOP guidelines to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between amounts billed and payments received.
  • Mediate disputes regarding pickups between hotels and associates.
  • Investigate unidentified payments.
  • Enhance the reputation of the department and organization by effectively resolving escalated accounts receivable issues.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, sales, or ERP systems.
  • Experience in the hotel industry is preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to make a minimum of 50 calls daily regarding outstanding payments.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a positive demeanor.
  • Strong business acumen and collaborative skills for effective problem resolution.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to work onsite.

Must be vaccinated unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.
