About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Sales Leader to join our team at Banners Hallmark. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Results: You will be responsible for knowing all aspects of store business and metrics, and in the absence of the Store Manager, you will set goals and drive revenue.
  • Customer Service and Product Knowledge: You will proactively engage customers, assist in fulfilling their needs, and build relationships by sharing product knowledge.
  • Operational Excellence: You will ensure the selling floor and backroom are clean, neat, and orderly every day, and participate in processing shipments, replenishing the selling floor, and other tasks.
  • Merchandising: You will utilize company guidelines to make effective merchandising decisions and hold the store to standard.
  • Training and Performance: You will assist in the onboarding of new employees by providing customer service and operations training, and participate in new technology implementation and training as requested.
Requirements
  • Two or more years of sales lead experience preferred
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills, as well as effective management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with technology required; computer-based training expertise is preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with a minimum of 24 hours depending on the needs of the store
