Senior IT Disaster Recovery Project Manager

Parexel is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Disaster Recovery Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for managing the activities to ensure that Parexel is able to recover our IT systems in the event of a disaster and perform DR testing exercises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed and comprehensive disaster recovery plans for each required application
  • Partner with leadership, subject matter experts, and management to ensure effective disaster recovery processes
  • Manage the DR Program using the Business Continuity Software Suite (RecoveryPlanner)
  • Establish and maintain detailed DR communications and command and control plans
  • Provide disaster recovery planning, testing oversight, and governance
  • Collaborate with the Incident Management team to facilitate business recovery
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in computer technology and/or information systems
  • Foundational knowledge of servers (Windows, Linux), applications, databases, storage/backup and networks
  • 8 years of IT project management experience
  • Previous experience in a large global organization
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Critical thinking skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
