Embedded Security Specialist

Securitas Technology Corporation, a leading provider of integrated security solutions, is seeking a skilled Embedded Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service on our security products at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Service intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
- Perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on security equipment and systems, ensuring they are in satisfactory working order.
- Complete maintenance tasks within assigned hours, minimizing emergency calls and achieving a goal of zero call backs.
- Assist with the start-up of new equipment or system installations and adjust as needed to ensure the system is operational.
- Plan schedules, lay out basic electrical equipment installations, and assist in the start-up and check-out of new systems installations.
- Present a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance.
- Perform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.
- Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention.
- Maintain company propriety and documentation in accordance with established policies; handle proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adhere to and support Securitas Technology policies and procedures, including all safety requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with changes and new developments in products and technology.
- Attend and complete training programs as requested.
- MUST HOLD a minimum of 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of intrusion detection systems, electronic access control, CCTV, IP video, surveillance systems, fire alarm, and life safety systems.
- NICET Certification preferred.
- Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred.
- Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in heights.
- Carry items up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after-hours & weekend emergency calls.
- A valid state driver's license, without restrictions, is required.
- Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred.
- Working knowledge of IP addressing equipment.
