Job Title: Malay Proofreader and Quality Control Reviewer

Location: Hilliard, OH (on-site)

Job Type: Project-based, part-time (8-12 hours per week)

Salary: $29 per hour

About the Role

As a Malay Proofreader and Quality Control Reviewer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our transcription services. Your responsibility will be to review completed work, citing any issues that affect the quality of the work. You will also create and report daily quality logs to the On-site Team Auditor/OPS Auditing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review completed work and identify quality issues
  • Create and report daily quality logs
  • Maintain a clear understanding of client guidelines and quality expectations
  • Direct project-related questions to the On-site Team Auditor/OPS Auditing Manager
  • Report security clean room policy violations
  • Suggest opportunities for improvement
Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Malay language
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain continuous knowledge of client and industry clean room standards
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in PC and Google Suite

Additional Requirements:

  • US work authorization (no sponsorship provided)
  • Able to commute to our office
  • 18+ years of age
  • Expertise in Malay language (language assessment required)
  • Ability to understand various Malay-speaking accents and dialects
  • Previous professional experience working in Malay language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal education at the secondary level in Malay language
  • Formal education at the post-secondary level in Malay language
  • Masters or Ph.D. studies in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or Malay language
