Facilities Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Gecko Hospitality in Gilbert, AZ. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all facility equipment, responding to trouble calls, and performing scheduled and maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring positive guest experiences and providing hands-on training to technicians.
  • Uphold our core values by creating innovative improvements, collaborating with others, and being accountable for measurable, high-quality, and timely results.
  • Promote teamwork and encourage others to do the same.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the mechanics area.
  • Build and leverage strong, lasting relationships with people both inside and outside of the business.
  • Expand job responsibilities, suggest improvements, and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes.
  • Speak clearly and effectively in various settings.
  • Develop and inspire a team of hourly technicians to exceed guest expectations, leading to a revenue-generating department.
  • Engage guest service-focused team members through recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and continuous development efforts.
  • Make effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities.
  • Use your knowledge of the business to develop long-term strategies to competitively position our company.
  • Summarize and analyze information for budgeting revenues and expenses.
  • Measure costs of products, services, or other cost objectives.
  • Showcase capabilities of managing profit and loss responsibility through setting financial goals and managing budgets.
  • Complete all shift paperwork and/or reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of building maintenance.
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
  • Ability to complete physical duties.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule.
  • Availability to be on call 24/7.
