The Child Nutrition Program Coordinator plays a vital role in the execution and management of diverse child nutrition initiatives at CitySquare. This position primarily emphasizes the coordination of the Mobile Meals initiative, supervising AmeriCorps members, and ensuring adherence to governmental standards and regulations.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of higher education, with a preference for a bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in an office or nonprofit environment
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Competence in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required

Main Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and oversee AmeriCorps members involved in the Mobile Meals initiative
  • Manage daily operations of nutrition programs while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Support volunteers and meal program locations
  • Oversee meal tracking and reporting processes
  • Conduct monitoring visits to program sites
  • Lead efforts in recruiting and retaining meal program locations
  • Develop training materials and facilitate training sessions
  • Maintain accurate program documentation and perform data entry tasks
  • Exemplify high-quality service and contribute to process enhancements
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental objectives

Compensation Range: $43,000 - $45,000
