Position Overview

Nue Beginnings Residence Home Inc is seeking dedicated Therapists/Counselors to join our team on a subcontracting basis. The primary focus of this role is to deliver community-based therapy and counseling services to children and families engaged with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS). Our aim is to enhance parental capabilities and facilitate the process of reunification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client during individual therapy sessions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while managing time effectively.
  • Collaborate as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, working in harmony with other service providers.

Service Requirements: Therapists/Counselors are required to provide services both in-person and virtually when appropriate, across various counties. Candidates must be prepared to handle a substantial caseload of clients, including children and their parents or guardians, under the supervision of DFCS.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Master’s degree in psychology, sociology, family therapy, or counseling—no exceptions. Eligible candidates for provisional or clinical licensure, or those already holding such licenses, must have one of the following credentials: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAPC, LMSW, or LAMFT. All applicants must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.

This position is ideal for recent graduates who have obtained their Master’s degree from an accredited institution and are eager to gain extensive practical experience in the field.
