Mental Health Specialist

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our team at the Paulding County Outpatient Clinic.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled professional to provide individualized case management and clinical services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments, individual, family, crisis, and group counseling sessions according to treatment plans
- Complete necessary paperwork and ensure individuals meet eligibility criteria or refer to appropriate providers
- Manage a caseload by ensuring all services are authorized and chart paperwork is complete and current
- Take ownership of individual and referral source satisfaction by returning phone calls in a timely manner and communicating with referral sources
- Encourage individual responsibility and recovery by utilizing evidenced-based interventions and providing comprehensive and ongoing assessment
- Master's Degree from an accredited program
- Professional license in the state of Georgia (LAPC, LAMFT, LMSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Two or more years' experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
- Skilled in working independently and implementing time management strategies
- Ability to demonstrate positive team interactions and computer skills sufficient to learn and utilize electronic medical records
