MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a valid CDL License with a "P" passenger endorsement and an up-to-date medical examiner's card.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buses to ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality benchmarks, and customer specifications.
- Operate vehicles under various road conditions to assess ride quality and overall functionality.
- Perform brake tests on designated strips to evaluate braking performance.
- Complete all necessary documentation for quality assurance assessments and improvements.
- Report any quality-related issues to the appropriate production, mechanical engineering, and management personnel.
- Prior experience or familiarity with chassis assembly processes is advantageous.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as tape measures and other tools as required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer usage along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Alert supervisors to any emerging issues.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety analyses.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following established procedures and regulations.
- Participate in daily safety meetings.
- Engage with supervisors and team members throughout shifts to clarify daily responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
- Possession of a CDL license with a passenger endorsement is essential.
- Agreement to sign MVR consent and successfully pass motor vehicle record checks.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and blueprints is required.
- Work in a manufacturing setting with potential exposure to heat, cold, noise, and fumes.
- Fast-paced work environment with moving machinery, sharp edges, and crowded areas.
- Physical demands include pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching overhead, grasping, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Meet established quality and production metrics.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
- Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to attendance policies and be available for overtime as necessary.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Achieve satisfactory performance evaluations.
