Transportation Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
AFO is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Fort Stewart, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect all phases of goods, services, or operations for conformity to established quality, health, and safety standards.
- Perform daily inspections of contractor and/or carrier performance of packing, crating, loading, shipping, unloading, uncrating, unpacking, and servicing of personal property.
- Provide advice on entitlements and method of shipping and mode of shipments.
- Assist the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in assuring compliance with DPM contracts by contractor.
- Prepare and maintain all reports required under DPM contracts Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of quality control inspector experience in the grade of E-5 to E-6.
- High School Diploma or GED certificate.
- Current Driver's License with a clean background of violations that would prevent the operation of Government Owned Vehicles.
