Role Overview
The Construction Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting Project Managers and/or superintendents in the seamless execution of projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, documentation, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in reconciling quantities, managing materials, and overseeing subcontractors.
  • Support Project Managers and/or superintendents in coordinating project activities.
  • Help in reviewing and approving project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
  • Engage in meetings and presentations with stakeholders and contractors.
  • Interpret and manage project plans and schedules, assisting in the coordination of detailed project phases.
  • Conduct takeoffs for bidding and field purposes.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in roadworks or construction.
  • A strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with construction/takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, Heavy Job) is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
  • A comprehensive understanding of business operations.

Working Conditions:
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Ability to work on a heavy construction job site.
