Position Summary

The Server Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This position involves assisting servers in various tasks to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness in the dining areas.

Key Responsibilities

The essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Welcoming guests and guiding them to their tables while providing menus.
  2. Preparing tables for incoming guests by cleaning surfaces, changing linens, and arranging tableware and condiments.
  3. Maintaining cleanliness in the dining area by clearing tables and attending to spills.
  4. Delivering food orders when servers are occupied.

  7. Assisting with payment processing as needed.
  8. Sanitizing menus and removing trash from the dining area.
  9. Setting up tables and serving stations for events or regular service.
  10. Upholding a professional appearance and adhering to the club's dress code.
  11. Demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and excellent customer service.
  12. Completing additional tasks as directed by management.
  13. Maintaining regular and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  1. A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  2. Effective verbal communication skills.
  3. Basic math skills for handling cash and change.
  4. A food handler's permit or certification.

Experience and Education

Preferred qualifications include:

  1. Prior experience in food service.
  2. Certification as a Food Handler or equivalent local certification.

Physical Requirements

Applicants should be able to:

  • Read documents and communicate effectively.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasionally climb, stoop, or kneel.
  • Lift items weighing over 25 pounds.
