Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee a wide range of IT projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines, within budget, and to the required Trilogy standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and experience with projects in security, infrastructure, software development, software deployment, telecommunications, hardware deployment, opening new locations, and managing other project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Project Execution: Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure project deliverables are on track and expectations are being met.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Update and maintain project status dashboard for leadership and stakeholders. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Budget Management: Adhere to budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Conduct project lessons learned review and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • New Location Management: Manage the planning and execution of opening new site locations, including IT infrastructure, telecommunications, hardware, and software deployment.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up to date with the latest IT security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all projects are aligned with the company's overall strategic goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years of experience managing other project managers.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or other project management certification.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies, managing infrastructure, software development, software deployment, telecommunications, networking, and IT security projects.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
