We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Project Manager to join our team in Louisville, KY.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have expertise in structural engineering principles, advanced analytical capabilities, and project management skills to lead complex projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and guidance on structural engineering design, analysis, and construction methodologies.
  • Manage the engineering design of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and calculations to verify the integrity and performance of structural systems, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development through hands-on training and feedback.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and reports prepared by junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
  • Perform site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing structures, identifying areas for improvement and recommending cost-effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to drive innovation and enhance project outcomes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement cutting-edge engineering solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
