About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Amerita. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of medications and supplies to our patients' residences.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to ensure timely delivery of patient medications and supplies.
  • Load delivery vehicles with patient medications and supplies scheduled for delivery.
  • Deliver patient medications and supplies to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
  • Pick up equipment along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
  • Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
  • Ensure that delivery vehicles receive basic service according to maintenance schedule; report larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
  • Maintain and clean and organized delivery vehicles in accordance with ACHC accreditation standards.
  • Assist in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed, as needed and eligible per branch warehouse coordinators' criteria.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, preferred.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Ability to drive safely.
  • Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
  • Ability to plan delivery routes.
  • Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
  • Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times.
