Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

CES Group Engineers, LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of experience in land development and/or public infrastructure design, with a strong background in project management and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers, designers, and technicians in organizing and prioritizing tasks.
  • Work independently to perform calculations, design tasks, and prepare reports, construction drawings, specifications, and project deliverables.
  • Develop project scopes and fees, and prepare and/or review layouts, surveys, details, estimates, and other work products.
  • Interact with clients and travel to project sites as needed.
  • Coordinate with the work of others and operate in a professional office environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited engineering program.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) in North Carolina and/or South Carolina.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in land development and/or public infrastructure engineering and project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater management design.
  • Commercial and residential land development design and project management experience.
  • Public roadway and drainage system design experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
