About the Role

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Civil Design Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the civil design effort on various projects, working closely with other engineers and design staff to deliver innovative and cost-effective designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the civil design effort on small to large projects, collaborating with other engineers and design staff to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules, working closely with project managers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assist in the preparation of civil scope and engineering level of effort estimates, as well as maintain project budgets and schedules.
  • Work effectively with local and remote design team members to meet and exceed project schedule and quality goals.
  • Communicate effectively and coordinate with project teams, including other disciplines, to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' professional experience in municipal and/or industrial civil design, including water and wastewater pipelines and site work, and construction administration preferred.
  • Professional Engineering license is required, plus ability to obtain license in additional states as needed.
  • Experience working with local and area permitting agencies to obtain site and storm water permits for industrial/municipal site development required.
