About Denver Springs: Denver Springs is a 96-bed behavioral health facility located in Englewood, CO, providing both inpatient and outpatient services for mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents, and their families. Our mission is centered around Changing People's Lives.

Role of the Assessment Department: The Assessment team is crucial in fulfilling our mission. Team members evaluate the needs of individuals reaching out for help, conducting initial psychiatric assessments for those seeking treatment. As an Assessment Coordinator, your role will involve supporting staff in delivering thorough assessments and high-quality therapeutic care for patients dealing with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric and emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the needs of walk-in and phone inquiries to ensure appropriate referrals to services or resources.
  • Assist in scheduling initial psychiatric evaluations for patients and communicate their symptoms to psychiatrists for optimal care recommendations.
  • Refer and triage patients to additional treatment resources when necessary.
  • Handle inquiries regarding treatment options and the facility, documenting calls and scheduling appointments for prospective patients.
  • Collaborate with the business office to facilitate a seamless admission process.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in clerical roles is required.
