Position Summary: We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Speech Pathologist to provide essential services in evaluating and treating communication and swallowing challenges. This role is vital in assisting our participants to reach their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing issues.
  • Create and execute tailored treatment strategies based on assessment findings and individual participant requirements.
  • Deliver direct therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech and language difficulties.
  • Track and document client progress, modifying treatment plans as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to achieve participant objectives.
  • Provide education to clients and their families regarding effective communication techniques.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all services rendered.
  • Stay informed about advancements in speech pathology and apply best practices in service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and associated disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to function effectively within a team setting.
  • Compassionate and committed to delivering high-quality care.
