Key Responsibilities:
Blueprint Interpretation:
- Analyze and execute blueprints, diagrams, engineering schematics, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Employ written guidelines to accurately fulfill assembly duties.
- Skillfully operate hand tools, electrical devices, hand cutters, measuring instruments, and light machinery with efficiency and safety.
- Ensure a well-organized inventory at workstations, confirming that all essential materials are accessible and accounted for.
- Conduct quality assessments on work, documenting and addressing any product discrepancies.
- Modify and/or repair assembled items in accordance with engineering specification updates.
- Comply with quality standards and established safety protocols consistently.
- Maintain a tidy and secure workspace to promote a productive environment.
- Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Able to work in a standing position for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
- Strong aptitude for reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.
- Competent in utilizing various hand and power tools.
- Sharp attention to detail to identify flaws and ensure high-quality assembly.
- Accuracy in adhering to engineering specifications and directives.
- Ability to troubleshoot and refine products as necessary to meet quality benchmarks.
- Physical capability to perform tasks that involve lifting and standing for prolonged durations.
- Dedication to upholding a safe working environment and adhering to safety regulations.
- This position requires adaptability to various working conditions, from standard to non-standard environments, while maintaining safety compliance.
- Typically requires a high school diploma along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, 4 years of relevant experience is necessary in the absence of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future.
