Job Summary

As a skilled DBA/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, and performing critical SQL Server RDBMS systems for multiple environments. This includes office and developers' infrastructure and customer systems on-premises and in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
Configure and maintain database servers, processes, and system health.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in real-time, including performance tuning.
Assist developers with query optimization and schema refinement.
Automate recurring database tasks and support scheduled maintenance and deployments.

Requirements

Solid command of SQL, SQL Server tools, and performance tuning.
Advanced knowledge of database security, backups, and recovery.
Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) for SQL Server.
Proficiency in PowerShell and Unix shell scripting.
5 years of experience as an SQL Server DBA, including Windows Server and Active Directory management.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

MCTS, MCITP, and MVP certifications
MCSE/MCSA certifications

Work Environment

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $90K - $110K annually, based on experience, and an extensive benefits package that underscores our commitment to your success. Our office is located in Teaneck, NJ, and we offer a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Travel to client sites is occasionally required, especially during client training and when going live.
