We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Gardant. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
About the RoleThis position requires a strong focus on building positive relationships with residents and their families, while also maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities- Care Delivery: Deliver personalized care as outlined in each resident's care plan, prioritizing their unique needs and preferences.
- Communication: Effectively report changes in resident health status to the clinical team, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Relationship Building: Connect with residents and their families through empathy, compassion, and active listening, creating meaningful experiences that promote trust and loyalty.
- Learning and Development: Engage in continuous learning opportunities, including educational seminars, staff meetings, and other resources, to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Confidentiality and Compliance: Adhere to all regulations regarding resident information, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and discretion.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: Must hold certification indicating successful completion of the Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate love, compassion, and dignity in all interactions.
