Position Overview

The Logistics Customer Support Specialist role involves providing essential guidance and assistance to the logistics division, ensuring the accurate, efficient, and timely management of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including Hills associates, external carriers, visitors, and others, to offer comprehensive support and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers, truck drivers, and team members, while delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Acting as the primary contact for all carriers and customers, addressing inquiries and maintaining communication at the Shipping window to ensure seamless outbound and inbound operations.
  • Coordinating shipping tasks and verifying the accuracy of Warehouse Management System reports.
  • Working closely with Customer Service to resolve issues related to Bills of Lading, pick lists, order adjustments, and other matters to ensure efficient and precise order fulfillment.
  • Arranging the receipt of inbound loads through scheduled appointments and finalizing bills of lading while confirming shipment statuses.
  • Promptly addressing loading challenges to maintain productivity and operational efficiency.
