Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Fire Inspector to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, and maintenance on electrical, sprinkler, and fire suppression systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical, sprinkler, and fire suppression systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Test and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement a structured inspection schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide technical training to less senior inspectors and trainees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of documented service experience in fire alarm systems.
  • Texas Fire Alarm license and ability to obtain and retain any required licenses.
  • Ability to work in unusual positions, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
  • Physical ability to carry and move equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
