Job Description

This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the fire service business in the local district office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising fire/sprinkler/suppression service inspectors/technicians, developing business strategies, and implementing action plans to meet the district's objectives and drive profitable growth of the Fire Service business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and implement plans, programs, and processes to meet and exceed corporate goals and objectives, as well as maximize market potential of the service business.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain effective customer communications, build solid customer relationships, and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
  • Productivity Improvement: Ensure fair and effective performance measurements are assigned, and employees are motivated to achieve and/or exceed their assigned goals and objectives.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all employees comply with corporate safety programs, and employee safety training is thorough, complete, and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Supervisory/Leadership Abilities: Demonstrate training, team building, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as effective interaction with customers.
  • Industry Experience: Seven to ten years of documented experience in the Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Suppression industry performing service and repair to Fire Alarm Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • License: Valid Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Suppression license.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
  • Travel: Available for local/regional travel, which may include nights and weekends to accommodate customer's schedule.
  • Customer Service: Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Background Check: Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Level II certification.
