Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Management Assistant to join our team at Meriter-UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging systems, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage imaging data and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Provide excellent patient service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of medical imaging systems and processes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in medical information systems and processes
  • Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Epic system knowledge, including Radiant
  • Experience in a Medical Imaging department utilizing electronic imaging systems
  • Previous customer service experience
